What is SOC 2 Type II Certification?

SOC 2 Type II certification is a cyber security compliance framework developed by the AICPA and recognized as a hallmark of excellence in data security and privacy. The framework is designed specifically for service providers that process, store, and manage customer data in the cloud. 

The certification process is rigorous and evaluates an organization's ability to securely manage customers' data and privacy over an extended period. The evaluation goes beyond just assessing policies and procedures; it requires proof of consistent operational effectiveness over a period of three months.
