Mira Murati formerly served as the Chief Technology Officer of OpenAI since 2018. Her early career featured contributions to Tesla’s Model X development and work with Leap Motion. At OpenAI, Murati has lead projects including ChatGPT, Dall-E, and Codex, while overseeing the company’s research, product and safety teams. Her work has been instrumental in the building, progress and deployment of some of OpenAI’s most notable products such as the Generative Pretrained Transformer series of language models. Her work also includes pushing the boundaries of machine learning while advocating for the responsible and ethical use of AI technologies. (edited)
